Shimano SLX RD-M7120-SGS 12-Speed Rear Derailleur - Long Cage, 2x12, SHADOW RD+
Shimano SLX RD-M7120-SGS is a genuine Shimano 12-speed rear derailleur with the Shadow RD+ clutch, built specifically for 2x12 mountain drivetrains.
Genuine Shimano SLX, brand new in retail packaging.
Will it fit? This is the 2x12 version, long cage (SGS), with a 45T maximum sprocket and 41T chain wrap capacity. It is designed around the 10-45T cassette. Important: if you run a 10-51T cassette you need the RD-M7100-SGS instead, as this derailleur will not reach 51T.

Technology Highlights
✓Shadow RD+ clutch with an on/off switch. Raises chain tension so chain slap and dropped chains largely disappear. Switch it off to remove the wheel.
✓Purpose-built for 2x12. Handles up to a 10T front difference, so a double chainset shifts cleanly instead of being an afterthought.
✓13T sealed bearing pulleys. Larger pulleys with lower friction, which keeps chain tension sensible in the low gears.
✓Direct cable routing. Nothing sticking out to snag on trailside hazards.
✓Quieter by design. A single tension spring keeps the derailleur off the chainstay and a rubber bumper on the cage cuts the rest of the noise.
✓SLX value. The clutch and the durability that matter, without paying XT money for them.
