This single-burner stove for mountaineering utilizes CB canisters as fuel. It maintains a low center of gravity for enhanced stability and is equipped with the highly wind-resistant WindMaster burner and a micro-regulator function. When paired with the newly introduced "CB TOUGH" canister, it ensures stable heat output even in high-altitude and low-temperature conditions, offering performance comparable to the OD canister models. This guarantees reliable and consistent cooking power in challenging environments.

Building on the "ease of use" DNA inherited from the ST-310, the SOTO Amicus Stove features a dedicated minimalistic design focuséd on extreme lightweightness, combined with a stable gotoku size for dependable performance. Despite using a CB canister, it delivers performance equivalent to that of OD canisters, making it a versatile and efficient choice for mountaineers.

SOTO is a renowned Japanese manufacturer of high-performance outdoor stoves and burners, operated by the Shinfuji Burner Company. Founded in 1978 by Hajime Yamamoto, the company initially focused on industrial burners designed to function efficiently in extreme cold, where traditional burners required 2–3 minutes to preheat. Yamamoto's team developed a burner that could preheat in seconds, earning them the nickname “Master of the Blue Flame” in Japan .

In 2010, Shinfuji launched the SOTO brand—meaning “outside” in Japanese—to serve the global outdoor market. SOTO quickly gained recognition for its innovative products, such as the Pocket Torch, WindMaster, and Amicus stoves, all engineered for reliability in harsh conditions. The company emphasizes precision, safety, and efficiency, with all products designed and manufactured in Japan. SOTO remains a family-run business, committed to advancing outdoor stove technology .
